Cannae Portfolio Advisors, LLC (“CPA”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information that you may share with us. The following describes how we may collect and use your personal information.

Information We Collect

CPA does not collect personally identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. If you elect to submit any personal information through our website (the “Site”), your submission is subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy, and you consent to such terms.

CPA uses IP Addresses and Cookies in limited ways, as follows:

IP Addresses: An IP address is literally your computer’s address and is a unique identifier, allowing online information to be sent to the right place. We may use IP addresses to better understand the customer database. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Site. Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information such as geographic distribution of site visitors. We do not intentionally link your IP address to your personally identifiable information.

Cookies: The job of a cookie is to record only information you volunteer to us upon registering or visiting the site. Cookies are tiny files placed onto the hard drive of your computer the first time you visit the Site that may enable our server to recognize or “remember” who you are next time you come back. Contrary to popular belief, cookies do not extract private or personal information from your computer’s memory. CPA cookies are not tied to personally identifiable information.

Use of Information

When personal information is collected, we will inform you at the point of collection the purpose for the collection. CPA will not transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except under the limited conditions described under the section entitled “Information Sharing and Disclosure” below.

Our users are given the opportunity to “opt-out” of having their information used for purposes directly related to our Site. Users who no longer wish to receive our communications may opt-out by contacting the sender of the email. We assume you have given us your consent to collect and use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy unless you take affirmative action to indicate that you do not consent.

CPA uses personal information for several to fulfill your requests for certain services, to keep you up to date on the latest announcements or other information we think you would like to hear about either from us, and to better understand your needs and provide you with better services.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not transfer or share your information except as provided below:

CPA may also share your information with third parties if we collect your information for a specific purpose (e.g., to register you for our mailing list, in order to provide service to you) and such third party must receive your information for such purposes.

CPA may also send your personal information to other companies or people if we have your consent to share the information; or if required to do so by law, or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a court order or subpoena, to cooperate with investigations by law enforcement or regulatory authorities or to participate or cooperate with a judicial proceeding, or in urgent circumstances, to protect personal safety, the public or our Site.

Security

CPA is committed to protecting your personal information and does so with certain physical and technological procedures. However, we cannot ensure the security of the information as you transmit it to us, and so we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. This includes using a secure browser where applicable.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected. If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. If you have opted out of all communication with the Site, you will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a notice on the Site notifying users of the change.

Business Transitions

If CPA goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of a portion of our assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. If as a result of the business transition, the users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given a choice consistent with our notification of changes section.
